Update

Well their I was poised ready to work on my online blog during my trip to Ireland and tour of the UK and due to poor internet access and expensive access ie Dublin and bone idleness i simply could not be bothered. But from now I will make a little more effort.. heard that b4

Presently I am back at Uni completing my final year and i am swamped to say the least but on the brightside, only 7 Months til OZ!

Frustrated at living two hours from the coast I find mountain boarding a bit of a adrelanin filler...though its knackering walking up the hill after you cruise down.

Its a London Ting

Fresh back from London. Ended up putting in more tourist time in two days than i did when i resided there. Checked out The Botanical gardens which had a very interesting glass exhibition consisting of a sequence of organically blown shaped and vibrantly coloured glass sculptures that are spread around the gardens. Then hit Saint Pauls Cathedral for a look around crypt and magnificent dome. It was a place of reflection (not religious) but i found my self in awe of the genius that went into building this creation. Though everytime i found somewhere quiet to reflect, silence would be broken by another group of Americans being loud and saying " OHHH MYYY GOOOOOD!!! ISNT THIS JUST LIKE FRICKEN AMAZIN!!" "ITS LIKE IM STANDIN ON A GRAVE WOOoooOoooO"! dont you just love them in their matching shellsuits! The Play was pretty cool to although i was more amazed by Kevin Spacey actually being on stage than the play itself , he put in a great performance and was mesmerizing to watch. Well on to Dubin on Monday Top O tha Morning Patrick

Time to dust off the backpack

Next Monday the fun begins as i am going to London to "Meet The Parents", Kylies parents that is who are gracing us with their company for a late summer break. Thankfully we have met b4 and they are great. Off down the West End to see "The Player" starring the legend that is Kevin Spacey ( The Usual Suspects, American Beauty)which should be stage gold if Kevs on form.
Home for a couple of days to recoup, then bags packed again for a quick trip to my homeland Ireland!! The City of Dublin to be more precise. Home of Guinness, the Liffey,Shamrocks and smoke free public houses. Hopefully soak up some culture and find a pub called Andersons.
Then whoosh home again for a days rest B4 an eight day assault of the senses to Scotland on a whirlwind tour of the highlands,Islands and anything else remotely interesting ie. small rock buildings with a guiness tap.
I will be making posts if i happen to come across a tinter net cafe, so check back for those as i will be attempting to write some poetry to describe my experiences along the way which should be a laugh.....no really.

New kite

Well my kite experience was very enlightening indeed. I set up my 2.5 metre bullet kite and got a few wind powered rides on my board. I got the basics mastered then a couple of local pros turned up and began setting up there 14 metre kites? I enquired as to the cost of these bohemoths to which the answered ...um ..around £700 quid kite only!!!!
I was a little shocked and suddenly my 2.5 metre bullet felt like a kiddiess toy for 4yrs and up ! So I am selling my baby on ebay if anyone is interested. It has served me well and we all have to start somewhere!
My next kite needs to be slightly larger um 8.0 metres ..now we are talking haha

The sky is falling on our heads

Hi all,

I have created this blog thing as I am totally disabled at keeping a regular paper based diary and besides I can type quicker than i can write which is probably a worry. I shall be making regular postings here so if you happen to be bored and want to hear about my world then check this out. Tomorrow i am taking my pristine new kiteboard and power kite to the local "field" to attempt land kiteboarding which should be a bit of craic, as long as I don't spill any claret in the process of course.
