United Nations, Cup Cakes & Central Park

Today ended up being a real mixed bag. Started the day with a visit to the UN head quarter’s 'bureaucracy in a box', which was moving and very inspirational. We followed this by stuffing our faces with over priced cup cakes at the buttercup bake shop, check the photos. After getting the 'cupcake sweats'! We took in a stroll around the beautiful and very manicured trails and paths of Central Park. The day ended with a spectacular thunderstorm.

New York Day 1

We have arrived in New York ! The Hotel is excellent as is the weather. We took the obligatory tourist trip to Liberty and Ellis Island today, which offered some interesting history lessons and stunning panoramic views of the city and her first lady.

You can bodyboard on a Lake

Spent the weekend with my family in Northern Ireland. We had another world famous Anderson BBQ which went down well as always. Sunday was spent out on Lough Neagh on my dads new boat towing out on my old Sponge. Great craic for all as always, thanks mum and dad!

Summer Heat

Mercury was rising twenty seven degrees today. So I decided to take my trusty mountain board up on the Hill one more time before I leave in just two weeks. We had a good session and even managed to throw in a couple of nice slams. I will miss Cleeve Hill such a cool place to hang out on a hot summers day.
